CNN Fires Reza Aslan Due To Trump Bashing

In a shocking turn of events, CNN decided to let one of their most popular hosts go today due to some comments he made in the wake of the terrorist attacks in London that took the lives of eight people.

That’s right, CNN host Reza Aslan has reportedly been fired from the network.

Aslan’s dismissal comes on the heels of his candid remarks about President Trump and his response to the London terrorist attacks.

After the London attacks, President Trump attempted to use the tragedy as an opportunity to promote his Travel ban. He actually has the audacity to try and politicize this terrible event.

Aslan slammed Trump for his insensitive tweets and decided to rip Trump a new one on Twitter by writing:

‘This piece of sh*t is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency. He’s an embarrassment to humankind.’

Aslan quickly deleted the tweet, but not before The Media Research Center launched a full-on campaign to fire Aslan.

According to CNN, there will be no second season of Believer, and Aslan is no longer affiliated with the network.

‘CNN has decided to not move forward with production on the acquired series Believer with Reza Aslan (season two). We wish Reza and his production team all the best.’

Do you think CNN made the right call?
