White House “Senior Advisers” Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, are reportedly moving to reduce their responsibilities and “roles” in the White House, in an attempt to slowly start their process of leaving the White House for good.
Though Democrats have been calling for an end to the nepotism in the White House for months on end, relatively new White House chief of staff John Kelly is the one who seems to be helping the couple’s exit along.
Friends of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner say that Kelly expressed frustrations about Kushner’s “Senior Adviser” undefined role and is implementing more discipline in the West Wing.
As a result, despite the couple still being too close to President Trump, they are now speeding up their plans to exit.
Ivanka and Kushner’s friends say that the couple, “never planned to stay in Washington for the entirety of Trump’s first term.”
Whether or not that is true, that seems like the most likely excuse the pair is going to use for leaving the White House. We don’t care what the excuse is, as long as they are gone.
Another excuse could be from President Trump himself, who has lashed out at those who have criticized Ivanka.
Just as early as last week, Trump said, “Baby, you’re getting killed, this is a bad deal,” referring to the criticism Ivanka receives, as a result of her presence in the White House.
Donald has also consulted with senior staffers on their thoughts on how Kushner and Ivanka Trump can withstand the criticism they receive.
Adding to all of this, is that Mueller is going to begin interviewing White House staff.
Ivanka and Jared have no previous political experience and no business being in the White House. They know it, and everyone else knows it.
Fortunately, their remaining time in the White House may be short lived, as the rumors continue to build a case that the couple is indeed preparing to return to New York.
