A day after Donald Trump slammed Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters at a rally in southwestern Pennsylvania, Waters returned fire, bringing up allegations of an affair he had with a pornographic film star.
While stumping for State Rep. Rick Saccone, Trump criticized Waters for repeatedly calling for him to be impeached.
“You ever see her? — ‘We will impeach him, we will impeach him’,” he said, mimicking the Los Angeles Democrat. “She’s a low I.Q. individual — you can’t help it, she really is.”

On Sunday, Waters responded on MSNBC, calling Trump “con man Don” and saying that his alleged 2006 affair with Stephanie Clifford – whose stage name is Stormy Daniels – may “get him” if the Russia investigation proves fruitless.
“This is what this con man does. He diverts attention from himself by attacking others,” she said, accusing Trump of chiefly picking on Democratic women. “Stormy [Daniels] is not going away.”
“This is what this con man does. He diverts attention from himself by attacking others,” before bringing up special counsel Robert Mueller.
“Stormy is not going away,” she said. “If for some reason, Mueller does not get him, Stormy will,” she predicted.
Trump previously went after Waters during a joke-filled speech at the Gridiron dinner earlier this month, when he said she needs to take an IQ test.
“I certainly expected him to come out with some racist remarks about me,” she said. “So he did exactly what I expected him to do. And, by the way, I’m told he wasn’t funny at all,” she told MSNBC afterward.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also came to Waters defense:
Pathetic that President Trump attacked smart and compassionate @RepMaxineWaters — both traits alien to him.
